2013 – Challenge Richard

Another year, another challenge, another silly walking the beach video..

They’ll be more of these to come..

Resolutions

Have you made your New Years Resolutions?  Are you sticking to them?  I decided I’d travel more this year than last, which isn’t hard, because I only spent two weeks outside the UK last year, and I only made it as far as Germany.

In fact it was on that very adventure to Germany, with the “Visionautics” team, that I came up with the idea for Inspiring Adventures, and for running the first international learning journey to Brazil.

As some of you know, I designed a trip to Brazil for October 2012, and invited people to come with me. I didn’t find quite enough people to make it happen, but the trip has been on my mind ever since.

Just Do It

I’ve been working hard in London, saving my pennies, and I’ve decided to just do it – alone. Only to keep the challenge real, I’m going to make it 5 times as inspiring and 5 times as adventurous.

I’ve booked my flights to Rio De Janeiro, and from February 5th to March 15th, and I’ll be spending 5 weeks on an Inspiring Adventure around the 5 regions of Brazil.

My goal is to meet social entrepreneurs and amazing people working on inspiring projects in every region, and to share their stories with you.  Of course I’ll be having fun and adventures on the way.

Brazil

Brazil is the 5th largest country in the world by area, the 5th largest by population, and some time in 2013 it’s going to become the 5th largest economy.  It’s an emerging super power is about to be host to the next world cup and the next Olympic Games.  I think it’s going to be important for all of us to know much more about this fascinating country.

Get Involved

If you’d like to support this Inspiring Adventure, I’ve just launched this crowd funding page on Indegogo.

Check it out for more silly videos, and let me know what you think.  šŸ™‚
